Apple iPhone 14 Review
Apple iPhone 14 is a safe update for people who already like the iPhone 13. It maintains the design that is quickly becoming recognizable and, rather shockingly, the A15 Bionic from last year (which is, admittedly, a wickedly potent processor in and of itself), but it also doesn’t develop the art in a way that would enable Apple to stay up with rivals.

Apple iPhone 14 price and availability
It shouldn’t be surprising that the pricing is the same for the base 128GB edition of the iPhone 14 given how identical it is to the iPhone 13: $799, £779, or AU$1,399 Approximate.
Retail availability begins on September 16 and preorders begin on Friday, September 9.
iPhone 14 Design, Display and Material
The design of Apple iPhone 14 is perfect. The new iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max both include the new Dynamic Island, a fungible zone that stores both the TrueDepth module as well as display information. While it is a virtual reproduction of the iPhone 13, it may fall short in comparison.
The 6.1-inch iPhone 14 is simply a small piece of technology between between two opulent slabs of glass that may or may not be Gorilla Glass Victus, for those who are unfamiliar with the design language Apple initially debuted with the iPhone 12. The Ceramic Shield is still there on the cover screen, so that should give another layer of defence.
A sleek metal band holds the about 75.1mm x 146.7mm x 7.65mm (0.30 inches) 172g body together. The positioning of the buttons, microphone, and speaker grille are the same as on the iPhone 13. On the right, there is a bigger power, sleep, and Siri button, and on the left, there is a quiet slider with volume controls below it.
iPhone 14 Cameras and battery life
The Apple iPhone 14 has three cameras in total: a 12MP wide camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, as well as a 12MP TrueDepth camera on the front.
For improved low-light performance, Apple claimed to have enhanced the primary camera with a bigger /1.5 aperture and larger 1.9 m pixels. The 12MP wide-angle still looks the same. However, the front TrueDepth camera now has focusing capabilities.
I did shoot with all of the lenses even though I only had a short amount of time in the demo room, and I thought the pictures looked good, but I need more practice. I will admit that after observing the new TrueDepth camera’s focusing in action, I can see how helpful it will be.
A few additional camera modes are also available. Cinematic Mode may now record in 4K at 30 and 24 frames per second. New Action Mode, a kind of electronic gimbal that smoothes down jerky footage by effectively smart-cropping on the go, is also available. Nice idea, however I feel like you lose a lot of the film that isn’t directly related to your theme.
iPhone 14 Performance and software
A15 Bionic, which has been around for a year, powers the iPhone 14. Although it’s disappointing not to see the newest silicon, the A15 Bionic is still the premier mobile CPU in its field. Performance-wise, the 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU are no slouch across a variety of tasks. On the iPhone 14, I got to witness some gameplay, and it naturally looked fluid.
I’ll reserve judgment until I assess Apple’s improved thermal design in the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, which may result in some battery and performance advantages.
Emergency satellite communications, as well as crash detection, as well as crash detection, are two fascinating new capabilities in the iPhone 14 series that, yes, are there in the base model.

Our verdict
The Apple iPhone 14 is a flagship that maintains a dated, well-worn design while delivering certain technology upgrades, such as a more potent TrueDepth camera array, accident detection, satellite connectivity, and more to bridge the gap between budget-conscious and the next big thing.
Conclusion
I still appreciate the way the Apple iPhone 14 looks and feels, despite the fact that it isn’t a significant improvement. However, I might only be able to distinguish it from the iPhone 13 by the new colours (I experimented with a lovely baby blue) and the absence of a SIM card port.
At least in some lenses, Apple iPhone 14 is a somewhat more potent phone than the previous version, and it could still outperform some new Android phones in terms of raw performance. The stylish new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, with their notch-free displays and 48MP cameras, will make it difficult to stare at the iPhone 14 without casting sideways looks towards them.
