Instagram down reports are pouring in again today, marking the popular app's second big outage this week.
Instagram down AGAIN- Thursday, October 27: Instagram outage reports have increased today, with users reporting problems with the massively popular social network.
According to Down Detector statistics, reports of Instagram down have been pouring in since around 2pm UK time.
However, the independent outage monitor began to detect an increase in Instagram down reports about 3pm UK time, with users flocking to Twitter to report problems with the app.
UPDATE ONE – Friday 9 p.m.: Instagram has gone down for the second time in two days.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has detected a significant increase in Instagram down complaints beginning at 8.30pm BST on Friday, October 28.
At the time of writing, Down Detector UK had received thousands of reports of Instagram being down, which comes just one day after Instagram experienced service disruption.
Today’s Instagram outages coincide with additional issues reported with Facebook and WhatApp.
UPDATE TWO – 10 p.m.: The problems that plagued Instagram and other Meta apps earlier today have been fixed.
A representative for the company told Express.co.uk: “A configuration update earlier today caused some individuals to have difficulty accessing our goods. We worked rapidly to resolve the issue for everyone who was affected, and we apologise for any inconvenience.”

According to Down Detector statistics, the troubles with Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Messenger all began around 8.30pm UK time. Service issues lasted around an hour until things returned to normal.
