WhatsApp Latest Update: The instant messaging service WhatsApp has released a new feature that will let its beta testers link their accounts to a different phone and an Android tablet. Users of WhatsApp have access to all of WhatsApp’s features, including message encryption, on up to four Android devices when they link those devices to their main account.
The most current WhatsApp beta for Android, version 2.22.24.18, now includes buddy mode, which enables users to link a second phone to their primary account.
According to the source, beta users of the service may now enable Companion mode by selecting “Link a device” from the drop-down menu located under the settings menu on the registration screen.
Users of WhatsApp may connect up to four Android phones to their main account, giving them access to all of WhatsApp’s standard features including message encryption.

Currently, the functionality is only available to a limited number of beta users; a larger deployment will take more time.

Currently, only a small number of beta testers have access to this functionality, which can be found under the connected devices beta option under the devices part of the settings menu. Simple QR code scanning is used to complete the pairing procedure.

Currently, WhatsApp users may only access their accounts on one smartphone, but they are permitted to attach up to four more devices, such as computers and tablets, to their current account.
One WhatsApp number may now be logged into on two different phones thanks to the new feature.
