One Moto Electa Electric

Scooter design is inspired of scooters from the 1970s and 1980s, with its classic retro appearance. The scooter has similar stylistic characteristics to vintage Vespa models from the 20th century, including as a circular headlamp and taillamp, a slender and curvy front apron, and a robust front fender.

Because of the flared rear fenders, the scooter’s back end resembles a Vespa classic. The front apron, floorboard, rearview mirrors, headlamp bezel, and rear baggage rack all get a good dose of chrome that adds to the electric scooter’s premium appeal.

The single-piece seat is flat and appears to be enough for both the rider and the pillion. The scooter’s characteristics are incredibly relaxing.

Features And specifications

Despite its modest vintage look, the scooter is loaded with modern gadgets that help to justify its astronomical price tag. All-LED lighting and a semi-digital instrument console are included, as well as a One App with features like geofencing, Bluetooth connectivity, IoT, maintenance warnings, and riding behavior.

Electa is driven by a QS brushless DC hub motor with a 4kW (5.36 bhp) output that is fed by a 72V 45Ah detachable lithium-ion battery.

On a single charge, this powertrain provides a range of 150 kilometers, and the scooter has a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour.

It takes 4 hours for the battery to be fully recharged. Scooter, however, comes with a removable battery pack for easier charging.

Other Details

Electa is fairly agile for an electric scooter, weighing 115 kilograms and holding a load of 150 kilograms. The motor, controller, and battery all come with a three-year warranty from One Moto.

Electa is available in five different color schemes: Matte Black, Shiny Black, Blue, Red, and Grey. Electa will compete in India against the Ola S1, S1 Pro, Ather 450X, and Bajaj Chetak.

Bookings for the electric scooter have already begun, both online and offline. One Moto now has 75 dealerships across India, with plans to double that number by the conclusion of the fiscal year.

Is Electric Scooter Successful In India?

Electric scooters are becoming increasingly popular in India, with established manufacturers such as Bajaj and TVS facing stiff competition from start-ups. When it comes to electric two-wheelers, a number of totally electric scooters and bikes have already been introduced in the country.

Is It Good To Buy Electric Scooter?

When compared with traditional two-wheelers, maintaining an electric scooter/bike is inexpensive. An electric two-wheeler has fewer moving parts and requires less maintenance. The lack of an internal combustion engine simplifies maintenance considerably.

Is Electric Scooter Faster Than Bike?

Electric scooters can outrun bicycles in terms of speed. While affordable electric scooters cannot reach high speeds, higher-end scooters may reach top speeds of 50 km/h or even 100 km/h, which is several times the bike’s top speed.

Can Electric Scooters Be Used In The Rain?

This is the big question, and the answer is no in the vast majority of circumstances. Even if an e-scooter is advertised as being waterproof (or water resistant), many manufacturers will advise riders to avoid riding in the rain.

Our Verdict

The One-Moto Scooter is a high-speed luxury electric scooter with a 45 Ah lithium-ion battery pack and a moderately powerful 5.36bhp DC hub motor, which is more than sufficient for city runabouts. The One-Moto is priced out out of reach for the majority of Indian users.

Conclusion

India is encouraging EV adoption, and we’re committed to offering high-quality products to help it happen. The plan is to offer high-speed, high-quality premium products and start distribution in major metropolitan areas.”

Scooter from One-Moto has been introduced in India, making it the British brand’s third electric vehicle to do so.
