YouTube is repeatedly crashing for some iOS users but a fix is on the way- Google is try to resolve a problem that is causing some iOS users’ YouTube mobile apps to crash repeatedly. The business responded in a tweet seen by The Verge: “Hi, we’re conscious that many of you using YouTube app on apple devices may be experiencing problems.” We are deeply sorry for this and are already working on a solution! Updating shortly.
As of the time this story was written, YouTube had not yet provided any additional details. When Engadget asked Google for a response, they did not react right away. After we have additional information to provide, we’ll update this article. The extent of the issue among iOS users is unknown. During my lunch break, I had no trouble seeing this amazing video of the Artemis 1 launch synced to “Free Bird” on my iPhone. However, according to Downdetector, there have been over 7,500 instances of the app not functioning in the US.
The YouTube app on iOS devices “should now be running fine with no crashes,” according to a tweet from YouTube at 5:05 PM ET.
