QuietOn 3 Earbuds Use ANC To Help You Sleep
QuietOn 3 earbuds use ANC to help you sleep with active noise cancelling technology that uses a microphone to sample the sound and a speaker to create a phase-shifted sound that cancels the original sound.
Although there are a number of unusual design decisions here, QuietOn’s current set of active noise-cancelling sleep earbuds is Quieton 3 Earbuds incredibly small, perfect for side-sleepers, and quite simple to use. I’ve been sleeping in “Nordic quietude” for a few weeks now.
Not to point fingers, but someone lying extremely next to me produces some fairly strange noises throughout the night, and I’m not the best sleeper in the world. This person, mind you, would probably accuse me of the same thing, and this isn’t an issue that just we have.

It hasn’t been an issue since QuietOn, a Finnish business, gave over a set of their Quieton 3 Earbuds for testing. QuietOn says that these teeny-tiny sleep buds are the world’s smallest active noise cancelling gadget, weighing only 1.8 grammes on each side.
They’re tiny, sinking largely into your ear canal with a little tab jutting out that nestles into the folds of your ear. QuietOn has squeezed all the required microphones, speakers, as well as ANC processing units, as well as an all-night battery & charging equipment, into their itty-bitty housings, making these the first earbuds I’ve tested that are comfy and sufficiently nestled into a pillow for side sleeping.

Indeed, the only way to tell if they’re turned on according to QuietOn is to hold the magnet in the lid of your charging case up to each ear, contact it to the earbud, then pull it away and listen for a very tiny small clicking sound. This is a little difficult, and the fact that you have to do it at all is aggravating. I’d like it if they turned on their ANC for 10 or 15 seconds after exiting the case, so you could hear it.
The charging case is also a little strange, keeping the earbuds up magnetically on their small charge points, but they constantly sit at a jaunty little angle, making it impossible to see whether you’ve placed them correctly.
It provides roughly four nights’ worth of ANC before you need to plug in a USB-C charger as well as top it up, and the earbuds have provided me with some nice nights of calm.

People May Ask
Q- What Is the Full Form Of ANC?
A- Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
Q- Is It Worthwhile To Spend The Money On Them?
A- They’re a little less comfortable than foam earplugs, but they’re more or less as successful in getting me a decent night’s sleep in my situation. However, they’re definitely more efficient with low-frequency bass noise, so if that’s your nighttime annoyance and buck-a-pop earplugs aren’t cutting it, a pair of QuietOn 3 earbuds might be worth the investment.
Q- What’s In The Box?
A- When you open the QuietOn 3 earbuds package, you’ll discover the following items:
- QuietOn 3 earbuds (one pair)
- One charging case for the QuietOn 3 earbuds
- A USB Type-C charging cable is required.
- A guide to getting started quickly
- Foam eartips (four pairs)
Q- How Does Quieton Function?
A- They function in 2 ways: first, the foam tip passively muffles sounds, then the active noise cancelling technology blocks out the rest. The QuietOn 3’s are composed of a form of resilient foam, unlike conventional noise-cancelling headphones, which feature smooth silicone tips.
