Latest Tariff Hikes For Prepaid Plans Of Telecom Companies: Airtel ,VI And Reliance Jio

Tariff hikes for prepaid plans have been declared by telecom operators Airtel, Jio, and Vi. While Airtel and Vi have already applied the new rates on their plans, Jio’s new pricing will take effect on December 1, 2021.

Despite the 20% increase in charges, Jio stated that it remains to offer the lowest rates. There isn’t much of a difference between Airtel and Vi’s prepaid plans. Nevertheless, Jio’s plans are less expensive than those of Airtel and VI, as they were before the tariff hike was announced.

Airtel and Vi have  tariff hikes their prepaid prices by up to 25%, while Jio has tariff hiked its prepaid costs by 20%. The tariff hikes, according to the telecom operators, are intended to improve the average revenue per user (ARPU) and establish a long-term telecom industry.

Jio’s unrestricted plans, which were previously priced at Rs 129, will now be priced at Rs 155. This package includes 2GB of monthly Internet, unlimited voice calls, and 300 SMS. Plans starting at Rs 199 would include 1.5GB of daily bandwidth, unlimited phone calls, and 100 SMS per day.

The Rs 249 plan will be increased to Rs 299, with 2GB of daily data, free unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day included. Airtel and Vi tariff hikes are both raising their base tariffs to Rs 99. Both plans come with a 28-day validity period, 200 MB of data, and a 1 paise per second voice rate.

This is a voice plan that includes voice features. Airtel claims that it will provide 50% additional talktime worth Rs 99. Airtel has a prepaid plan that costs Rs 179 and includes unlimited calling, 100 SMS a day, and other benefits.

Vi would also provide a prepaid package for Rs 179 that includes unlimited calling, 300 SMS, and 2GB of data. The next premium plan with a 28-day validity is Airtel’s Rs 265 plan, which includes 1GB of data per day, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited calling.

With its Rs 269 prepaid package, Vi would provide the same perks. The latest Airtel enhanced plan would cost Rs 359 and include unlimited talking, 2GB daily data, and 100 SMS each day. Vi’s new prepaid package, which will cost Rs 359, would include 2GB of daily data, 100 SMS, and unlimited minutes.

Tariff Hikes For Prepaid Plans Having 56-Day Validity From:

Jio, Airtel, And Vi:

Jio offers two 56-day prepaid plans with 1.5GB and 2GB daily data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS each day. The plans that were previously priced at Rs 399 and Rs 444 would now cost Rs 479 and Rs 533, respectively.

Airtel will provide two 56-day availability plans, priced at Rs 479 and Rs 549, correspondingly, with 1.5GB and 2GB of daily data, as well as unlimited calls and 100 SMS. Vi tariff hikes is now offering two prepaid plans with 56-day validity for Rs 479 and Rs 539, accordingly.

These plans would also include 1.5GB and 2GB of daily data, as well as unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day, accordingly.

Tariff Hikes For Prepaid Plans Having 84-Days Validity From:

Jio, Airtel, And Vi:

Three prepaid plans are available from Jio, Airtel, and Vi, each with an 84-day validity period. Jio’s Rs 329, Rs 555, and Rs 599 rates would be increased to Rs 395, Rs 666, and Rs 719, correspondingly. Vi’s tariff hikes 84-day prepaid plans are priced at Rs 459, Rs 710, and Rs 839, accordingly. The perks are the same as Airtel’s prepaid plans, which include 6GB, 1.5GB, and 2GB daily data for Rs 459, Rs 710, and Rs 839, accordingly. All options include unlimited minutes and 100 text messages each day.

Tariff Hikes For Prepaid Plans Having 365-Day Validity From:

Jio, Airtel, And Vi:

The Rs 1299 prepaid plan from Jio will be increased to Rs 1559. This plan has a validity of 336 days and includes 24GB of data, unrestricted phone calls, and 3600 SMS. Jio’s Rs 2399 prepaid plan will indeed be increased to Rs 2879.

It is a 365-day package that includes 2GB of daily internet, unrestricted voice calls, and 100 SMS each day. Jio will also increase the cost of data add-on prepaid contracts. The plans that were previously priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 251 will now be priced at Rs 61, Rs 121, and Rs 301, respectively.

The data allowances for these plans are 6GB, 12GB, and 50GB, correspondingly. The Rs 301 plan has a 30-day time frame.

Airtel offers two annual prepaid plans with 3GB of daily data and a 365-day validity period. These plans will cost Rs 1799 and Rs 2999, accordingly, which will provide 24GB of data and 2GB of daily data.

In addition, these plans will provide unlimited calls and texts and 100 SMS each day. Annual prepaid plans from Vi tariff hikes will cost Rs 1799 and Rs 2899, correspondingly. These plans come with 24GB and 1.5GB of daily data, as well as unlimited calls, 100 SMS per day, and a 365-day validity period.
