Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 Review: Specifications And Features

The design of the Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 is a two-edged sword. On one hand, at 650 grams, the device isn’t as slim or light as some competing 11-inch tablets. On the other hand, the Tab 11 has a fantastic built-in metallic kickstand that can be used to position the device seamlessly on a flat surface.

Aside from these features, the Yoga Tab 11 is a standard mid-range tablet. Lenovo’s Yoga Tab has an 11-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and pen support. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G90T processor with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage in the entry-level configuration.

Depending on the model, the Yoga tablet can have twice the storage and additional LTE support. Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 is an attractive Android tablet with some unexpected deficits.

Design And Construction

Lenovo’s Yoga tablets appear to be a bit different than a “normal” tablet. The Yoga Tab 11 has signature kickstands rather than a flat design that looks like an enlarged smartphone.

Yoga Tab 11 Case With A Kickstand

Without a doubt, the design of Lenovo’s Yoga Tab series with its kickstand is a personal preference. The Yoga Tab 11‘s kickstand can be adjusted in a variety of ways.

Equipment – Lenovo Tablet With UFS Storage

The Lenovo tablet lacks a fingerprint sensor and a 3.5 mm audio port, and the HDMI port of the Yoga Tab 13, which allows individuals to use it as a (second) display, is also absent in the 11-inch model.

MicroSD Card Reader

In the Cross Platform Disk Test, the Lenovo tablet performs admirably when paired with an AV PRO V60 reference card (128 GB). However, at 22 MB/s, the copy speed is well below average.

Software – Yoga Tab 11 With Android 11

Lenovo combines the Android operating system with its own user interface. The Yoga Tab 11’s user interface is based on Android 11, with security updates starting in July 2021.

Communication – Lenovo Tablet With Slow WLAN

The Yoga Tab 11’s WLAN module, like the Tab 13’s, only supports Wi-Fi 5. However, the reason for the extremely low transfer rates when used in conjunction with the Net Gear Nighthawk AX12 reference router cannot be attributed solely to the supported ac standard.

Voice Quality – Yoga Tab With Conferencing Qualities

The Yoga Tab 11’s variable kickstand makes it almost tailor-made for video calls. We use the Skype app that we installed to test the voice quality of the two built-in microphones.

Cameras – Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 With A Single Camera

Although a mid-range tablet is unlikely to be used for photography, the 8-MP camera on the back with autofocus can still take decent pictures in daylight.

The MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, manufactured in the 12-nm process, powers the Yoga Tab 11.

Battery Life

The Yoga Tab 11 lasts an impressive 15 hours with the WLAN module activated and 18.5 hours in the endless video loop in our realistic battery test at an adjusted brightness of 150 cd/m2.

Energy Consumption

The tablet has a 7700-mAh battery that can be fully recharged in nearly 3 hours using the included 20-Watt charger.

Furthermore, the display and battery are both quite impressive. This is not a laptop replacement, which is a huge challenge for any tablet, let alone an Android tablet. But if users are certain about this, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 is worth considering when shopping for a tablet.
